LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

EASTERN SALISBURY COLUMN

I hope that everyone had a safe and happy New Year. We are finally settling into 2020 and have some exciting things planned for this year. Nothing like getting vacations planned for the whole year to get you excited!

Salisbury High School is partnering with St. Luke’s University Health Network to provide an informative presentation on healthy eating 7-8 p.m. Jan. 8. You will hear from a representative from the Community Health and Preventative Medicine department and learn easy ways to eat a more plant-based diet. No registration is required for this event.

The first Harry S Truman Elementary School Falcon Proud T-shirt day will be Jan. 16. I know it’s been awhile, but dig out those awesome shirts and show your Falcon Pride.

All Salisbury Township schools will dismiss early Jan. 17. SHS and Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. and HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss 1 p.m. If there are any changes to dismissal procedures, please notify your child’s elementary school.

All Salisbury Township schools will be closed Jan. 20 for a teacher in-service day. School will reopen Jan. 21.

There will be a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in the administration building.
