The borough will pick up discarded Christmas trees Jan. 10 and 17.

The trees should be set out in the same place the garbage is collected.

The borough is planning ahead for the snowy season and is compiling two lists.

One list is of residents who want their sidewalks shoveled, and the other is of youths who will shovel the snow.

The borough is reminding residents who live near fire hydrants to remove snow from around the hydrant, so the fire department can access them if needed.
