Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, will hold veterans assistance appointment hours 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 10 at his district office in the Lower Macungie Township administration building, 3402 Brookside Road.

An outreach specialist from the American Legion will be available to meet with veterans to discuss benefits and services.

Services available to veterans and their dependents include: assistance with compensation, pension, burial and survivor benefits, education, health care, obtaining military personnel and medical records as well as state benefits.
