Our Scholastic Scrimmage team received an early Christmas gift with a semifinal victory over Moravian Academy Dec. 16. The team will advance to the championship match in January 2020 against Northwestern Lehigh High School.

Congratulations to our Vikettes who earned All-State Girls Volleyball honors. Selections announced by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association PVCA Class 3A are Sydney Giamalis, Monica Vargo and Maggie McGuire.

On Dec. 10 Allentown Central Catholic High School held its Christmas concert featuring student musicians and the ACCHS Concert Band and Chorus.

Congratulations to our Fall 2019 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Scholar Athletes, Priyanka Bhashyam and Ben Carbonetto, who were recently honored in an event at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn, Stroudsburg.

Priyanka Bhashyam, recognized for girls tennis, is a member of National Honor Society, honor roll, Red Cross Club, debate team captain, Science Olympiad president, Economics Club president, mock trial, track and field, Poly-Sci Club, CCP, Key Club, BFF Club and more.

Ben Carbonetto, recognized for football, is a member of National Honor Society, Honor Roll, student council, yearbook, Viking Mentors, BFF Club, Key Club, the tennis team, the wrestling team, Altar Serving (Bishop Team), Miracle League and more.

Vikette Lauren Pristas, All-American Cheerleader, participated in National Cheerleaders Association summer camp, which earned her a nomination by the NCA staff to be a part of the All-American Team. She will head to London after the holidays to participate in special cheer events, as well as a parade on New Year’s Day.
