STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?
A. My family members are my mom, Jessica, my dad, John, my brother, Michael and my dog, Luka.
Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior?
A. As a senior, I enjoy having more free time. Compared to previous years, I haven’t had much work to do outside of school, so I have had more time to do things I enjoy.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject is science. Each year I have taken a science class that was completely different than the last, and I’ve enjoyed each one.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I was inducted into National Honor Society my sophomore year.
Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
A. My favorite extracurricular activities are STARs and class advisory. I am also on a competitive dance team outside of school.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. After high school, I want to go to college majoring in biology.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. I would say my biggest challenge to date has been time management. Throughout high school, I’ve enjoyed challenging myself by taking difficult classes, but I struggled with managing time. I have had to learn how to balance school, dance and other things I enjoy, while still finding time for sleep.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I would like to be remembered for my work ethic. I always try to put forth my best effort, both in and out of school.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire my brother, Michael. In college, he has worked really hard, and his success has been motivating for me.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. My advice for my peers is to always do your best and maintain a positive outlook on life.
