A resident in the 100 block of Mountain Park Road told police 3:40 p.m. Dec. 12, someone wearing orange was walking close to the homes in the woods carrying a rifle. Police were unable to contact the hunter.

A resident in the 2900 block of Windy Hill Road believed to get better rates on student loans with a company that took automatic payments from a bank account but never paid the student loans. Police were contacted 2:30 p.m. Dec. 12.

A 12-year-old boy took a knife to Salisbury Middle School Dec. 12. The student will receive school consequences.

A resident in the 1300 block of Fairfax Street reported the theft of a cat 7:20 a.m. Dec. 13. A neighbor allegedly has the cat. Police advised the resident this is a civil matter.

Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest reported the theft of $150 from a wallet belonging to a patient who left the room for an x-ray. While gone, the room was cleaned. The theft was reported 2:20 p.m. Dec. 15. Police are reviewing video.

John Forbes, 47, of Phillipsburg, was charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident 4:29 p.m. Dec. 13 at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

An unknown person used a counterfeit $5 bill at Dinos Pizza-Teria, 3300 Lehigh St., 8:26 p.m. Dec. 14.
