Upper Macungie Twp Police

Upper Macungie Township police say a 41-year-old man from the 1000 block of Yorkshire Drive, Upper Macungie, reported to them at 1:32 p.m. Dec. 19 that an evergreen tree resembling a Christmas tree was cut down and taken at 4 a.m. Dec. 16.

Police say video footage shows a male figure about 6 feet 4 inches tall weighing 200 pounds with a small dog.

Police say a 28-year-old Reading man reported Dec. 9 he had lost his wallet while he was working at Wakefern, 8301 Industrial Blvd., Upper Macungie.

According to police, a co-worker found the lost wallet and gave it back to the man later in the day.

Police say upon checking, the man discovered his Social Security card and cash were missing.

This theft remains under investigation.

Police were dispatched 4:14 p.m. Dec. 18 to the Weis Markets, 7801 Glenlivet Drive, Upper Macungie for a reported theft.

Police say at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 a man entered the store and stole numerous health and beauty care products.
