St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown, is offering a Christmas Eve service 4 p.m. for families, and a festival service at 9 p.m. Dec. 24.

Upper Macungie Township is hosting a Kids Noon Year’s Eve Party 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Dec. 29 at Good Will Fire Company, 7723 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.

There will be music, face painting, activities, games, giveaways and a balloon drop.

Light refreshments will be available to purchase.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, is offering a cool snowman and cocoa program for all ages 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 21.

Join the library’s knitting and crocheting circle 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Dec. 26.

Bring knitting materials and spend an afternoon swapping knitting and crocheting tips and tricks. All ages are welcome to attend.

The library will show the movie “Abominable” 1-2:30 p.m. Dec. 27.

There will be an Ugly Sweater Cookie competition for students in grades six to 12 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Dec. 28.

Design a yummy ugly sweater cookie at this competition.

A Teen Dragons and Dungeon Night for kids in grades seven through 12 will take place from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 30.

All levels of players are welcome to attend.

Kids in grades three through five are invited to transform fruit into a musical instrument at the STEAM Tinkerlab: Makey, Makey and More program from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 2, 2020.

Registration is needed to attend the cookie competition.
