South Whitehall Township had its annual tree and bridge lighting ceremony Dec. 7 at Covered Bridge Park.
With entertainment, refreshments and a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, visitors were treated to a delightful holiday event.
South Whitehall Parks and Recreation employees installed 45,000 lights as well as two truckloads of snow for Santa’s sled.
The snow, amounting to between 30 to 40 yards, was provided by Blue Mountain Ski Resort, adding to the festive nature of the ceremony.
