As per Liberty Bell Museum tradition, Allentown historical icon, Pip the Mouse, will ring in the New Year at noon on Dec. 31 at the Liberty Bell Museum located at historic Zion’s Church, 622 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
The Liberty Bell Museum will open at 11:30 a.m.
Pip the Mouse will ring the Liberty Bell Replica, and be available to pose for pictures.
At 12:30 p.m. the museum will hold its regularly scheduled performance of “Pip: The Mouse Before Christmas.”
Pip the Mouse first came to the Lehigh Valley as part of a Hess’s Department Store Christmas display. For fifty-seven years, Pip, and his holiday antics in the puppet show “Pip: The Mouse Before Christmas” have delighted audiences of all ages.
Pip the Mouse can now be seen at the Liberty Bell Museum annually between Black Friday and New Year’s Eve Day.
“Ringing in the New Year with Pip” is for all ages and is a Liberty Bell Museum tradition.
Juice and cookies will be served.
Admission for this event is included in the price of admission.
