Unknown persons removed more than $6,000 in jewelry, coins and other items, including a diamond wedding ring valued at $3,000, in a burglary at a residence along Limeport Road, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The burglary happened between 11:30 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. Nov. 3. The burglars forced open a rear door to the residence and removed various items from a bedroom including $1,700 in rings in addition to the wedding ring; three watches, an antique Mickey Mouse watch and two engraved gold pocket watches, with a total value of $1,200; various pins with a total value of $150; three bolo neckties with a total value of $150; necklaces valued at $100; a bracelet valued at $100; a wood jewelry box valued at $200; various gold and silver coins valued at $50; a special edition red stamp $5 bill; German monies, several expired Pennsylvania drivers licenses, a Social Security card and a white guitar pick, according to a media release. Two unknown males forced their way into Dunkin’ Donuts, 6366 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township and removed $9,275 from a safe and cash registers 5 a.m. Nov. 11. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the men first broke into a safe and removed its contents then removed money from three front cash registers as well as from registers in an office. A 43-year-old resident of the 1000 block of Sassafrass Lane, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown suspect used the resident’s credit card online to make a total of $2,568.95 in purchases between Oct. 1 and 4.
A 35-year-old resident, of Upper Milford Township, reported she forgot to retrieve her debit card after a purchase and later discovered an unauthorized purchase of $52.99 on her account Nov. 19.
A female resident of Marworth Court, Lower Macungie Township, reported a male caller advised the resident her social security number would be blocked unless she sent him money. The resident sent $600 in gift cards Oct. 31.
A male resident of the 5000 block of Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, reported a male identifying himself as an employee of PPL Electric Utilities advised the resident his bill was overdue and he needed to make payments using gift cards 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12. The resident sent $3,000 worth of gift cards.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to Speedway gas station, 5640 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, after two unknown males used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase Visa gift cards 4:25 p.m. Nov. 24.
A resident of Saddle Lane, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person attempted to acquire the resident’s social security benefits Oct. 3.
Stephen John Novogoratz, 33, of Allentown, was allegedly found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Elgin Drive and Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 2:16 a.m. Oct. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Corey Timothy Boksan, 31, of Macungie, was allegedly found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and Bogie Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, 12:08 a.m. Nov. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, Kay Builders, 4580 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, caused or permitted five false alarms to occur in a consecutive 12-month period as of Sept. 29.

An unknown person removed 29 Tramadol pills, with a total value of $319, from a medication cart at The Willow, an Inspirit Senior Living Community, 6488 Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, sometime between 12:01 a.m. Nov. 13 and 5:18 a.m. Nov. 20. Tramadol is a prescription-only medication often used to treat severe pain.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville troopers responded to the 3700 block of Notch Street, Lower Macungie Township, 1:26 p.m. Nov. 19 for a person overdosing on heroin. EMS arrived on scene and administered Narcan® to revive the person. The person refused transportation to a hospital, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
