Noel Yacoub has been named Girl of the Month for November by Woman’s Club of Whitehall Township.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wael Yacoub, of Whitehall.

Yacoub has earned high honor roll status.

She is a member of the Emerging Health Professionals program, SERVE Club, Ski Club, the Scholastic Scrimmage team, peer mentoring group and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also the captain of the varsity tennis team.

Yacoub belongs to Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society and the Spanish and English honor societies. She also received the President’s Education Award.

She was a regional and state winner of the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Competition.

She serves as a chapter chair of the Team Arnav Foundation and volunteers at St. Luke’s Hospital. She also participates in a program allowing her to shadow doctors, is a Communities in School tutor and plays piano.

Yacoub plans to major in dentistry, with a residency to specialize. She hopes to start her own clinic one day.
