Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, is offering the following programs for seniors in December.
The following groups and disc jockeys will be playing oldies and requests at the Saturday and Wednesday dances, so come out and enjoy the music with your friends.
Dec. 14: King Henry Duo
Dec. 18: Blue Notes
Dec. 28: DJ Jerry Deane
Saturday dances will be offered 7-10 p.m. The Wednesday dance will be 1-4 p.m. in the Trexler Room.
Per person admission fee includes light refreshments. Singles and couples are welcome.
Barbara and Charles Vengrove will be showing “La Cenerentola (Cinderella) – Rossini” video opera performance with English subtitles on a large screen 12:45-4 p.m. Dec. 20.
Good Vibrations Chorus will be performing holiday songs at a concert 9:30-11 a.m. Dec. 9.
Lehigh Valley Pops Orchestra and the Timely Tappers will be performing a holiday concert 9:30-11 a.m. Dec. 19.
Instructor Angela Faidley will lead a Paint and Sip “Snowman Wine Glasses” class 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participants all do the same painting while enjoying wine and snacks.
The senior center will be showing the drama/fantasy movie “Yesterday” at 12:15 p.m. Dec. 11.
Instructor Dr. Charles Bonos is offering a WWII history discussion titled “The Myth of Pearl Harbor” 2-3:30 p.m. Dec. 18.
