Grade: 12
Family members: Maria Brown (mom), Keith Brown (dad), Aaron Brown (brother), Caleb Brown (brother), Josh Brown (brother), Hope Brown (sister)
Favorite subject: My favorite subject is chemistry because I love learning about the complexity of matter all around us.
Activities: I am part of the varsity girls basketball team and the varsity Scholastic Scrimmage team.
Next steps: I am continuing my education at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Career Goals: I am majoring in chemistry and I hope to teach that subject in high school.
Heroes: My heroes are my parents. They have helped me get to where I am today, and they are the greatest role models one could have.
Hobbies: In my spare time I like to read, play with my little brothers, and watch movies.
Volunteer/community work: I have done a variety of volunteer work throughout my high school career, the most prominent being a service trip this past summer to help the poor in Philadelphia.
Likes: I like hanging out with my friends and family, listening to music, and anything that has to do with Star Wars.
Dislikes: I dislike getting up early, wearing tights for winter dress code, and realizing I have forgotten something in my bedroom after I have already walked out to my car.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): My greatest accomplishment is getting a 5 on my AP Chem exam.
Advice for peers: Enjoy every day. Make the most of every moment. Time flies faster than you realize. Don’t be in such a rush to move on to the next stage or your life because one day you’ll wish you could turn back time.
