Salisbury High School students in grades 10 through 12 now have the option to enroll in Moravian College and Seton Hall University while still in high school.
SHS counselors Alison Moyer and Michael Anderson spoke to parents and students about the enrollment options in a program earlier this fall.
Students can earn college credits in the following course areas: English/Communications, mathematics, social studies, world languages and science.
Tuition costs for dual enrollment is $100 per credit. There is no financial aid for dual enrollment.
Kutztown University, Penn State and other colleges will accept a direct transfer of credit from either college.
Students are encouraged to check with the transfer school before registering for dual enrollment.
Depending on the courses chosen, a SHS student can complete a whole college semester through dual enrollment. Moravian has no limit to the credits or courses. Seton Hall allows three courses and up to 22 credits per semester.
Some courses are split into fall and spring semesters.
