Thanksgiving is traditionally a time for family and friends to gather around the table and catch up on events from the past year - new babies, new loves, new jobs, graduations and marriages.

They also fondly recall and share favorite stories of loved ones who have moved on and are no longer able to be with them on this special day.

Families give thanks for all their blessings and then share a meal while renewing connections with those who may have traveled from afar.

We here at the eight Lehigh Valley Press weekly newspapers, through the stories we tell and the photos we share, often feel we are a part of your families, following your lives from birth and beyond.

This Thanksgiving, we say thank you to all our loyal advertisers and readers for your continued support throughout the year.

Many of you have seen your names in the papers, providing photos and stories to be published on the pages of our papers, and sharing the important milestones in your lives with us, your neighbors and the community.

Without you, the weekly newspapers would not be able to continue our commitment to doing the best job we can by providing local news accurately, truthfully and responsibly.
