An unknown person entered a residence in the 4900 block of Spruce Road, Lower Macungie Township and removed a Smith and Wesson 9 mm handgun and various jewelry between Oct. 5 and 6. The items were removed from a second floor bedroom, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person removed a black 9 mm Kel-Tec P-11 handgun and holster from a unlocked vehicle parked in the 8000 block of Salem Bible Church Road, Upper Milford Township, Nov. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The weapon is valued at $215 and the holster is worth $30.
An unknown person removed a license plate from a 2010 Toyota Corolla in the parking lot of Mack Trucks, Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, between Nov. 2 and 4.
Paul Carlye Lewis, 50, of Slatington, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along West Main Street, Macungie borough, 8:32 p.m. July 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Lewis also allegedly was in possession of a small amount of suspected marijuana located inside the vehicle and on his person during the incident, according to police.
Melissa Ann Strehle, 30, of Quakertown, allegedly was driving under the influence in a hit-and-run accident in the 8100 block of Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 2:11 a.m. July 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Strehle allegedly was the driver of a vehicle when it crashed into the yard of a residence, damaged property and fled the area. The vehicle and driver were located about .25 miles from the crash site, according to police.
Daniel Omar Dillard, 29, of Allentown, allegedly was determined to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Kressler Road and Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 3:04 a.m. Oct. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of Hill View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person attempted to open credit and checking accounts as the resident through Bank of America Oct. 31. The accounts were closed prior to any charges or transactions.
A resident of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person attempted to withdraw $235 from a bank account Nov. 2.
A resident of Bridlepath Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person obtained information about the resident’s Verizon Wireless account and attempted to purchase $3,548.98 worth of electronics online using the account information. There was no monetary loss to the complainant.
A resident of the 7600 block of Bryn Drive, Lower Milford Township, reported someone gained access to the resident’s personal information and made several transactions on the resident’s bank account without the resident’s consent, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The suspect also used a rental car and did not return it on the appropriate date. The events were reported Sept. 23.
