Fullerton: Whitehall Active Lifestyle Center to host cash bingo Nov. 24

There will be cash bingo 2 p.m. Nov. 24 at Whitehall Active Lifestyle Center, 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua. Doors open 1 p.m.

There will be specials, a 50/25/25 raffle and gift card basket raffle.

Refreshments will be available for sale. All proceeds benefit programs for the center.

Note, there will be no bingo in December. The games will resume in January 2020.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be selling single-bloom poinsettias again this year. The order deadline is Nov. 25.

Order by filling out a form in the back of the church or by calling Mary Spieker at 610-266-0695.

Flowers can be sent home with a school student or picked up at the parish office 1-3:30 p.m. Dec. 6 or in the parish hall 8:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 8.

All proceeds benefit the church’s youth ministry.

Remember: The deadline to purchase tickets for St. Elizabeth’s Golden Agers Christmas party is Nov. 23.

The event is Dec. 6 at City View Diner, 1831 MacArthur Road, Whitehall.

Casino trips are canceled for the rest of the year.

The Golden Agers will not be having any membership meetings during January and February of 2020 due to potential inclement weather.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having an Advent kickoff event 9:30-10:30 a.m. Dec. 1 in Fox Hall.

Families will enjoy snacks and create Advent in the Box kits, which will be taken home to be used to prepare for the birth of Christ this Advent season.

St. John’s UCC is also in need of new mittens, gloves and hats for the Christmas tree project. You can bring in donations of new mittens, gloves or hats for adults and children.

No wrapping is required; just hang them on the tree. All items will be distributed to Whitehall-Coplay School District and Sixth Street Shelter.

The deadline for these gifts is Dec. 8.
