Penn State: Santa at campus Dec. 7
Penn Staters are invited to a Nittany Lion’s Holiday Party from 10 a.m. to noon on December 7 at the Lehigh Valley campus, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley. There will be a visit from Santa Claus, arts and crafts, face painting, music and refreshments. The event is hosted by the Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society.
A professional photographer will be on-site for children to have their picture taken with Santa and the Nittany Lion. There is a cost. Tickets are needed for children age two and up. Each child is permitted two adult guests free of charge. Photo prints will be available for purchase from the photographer’s website following the event. Registration is required.
NCC: Food Service Sanitation offered
Northampton Community College will offer the ServSafe certification training for food service safety from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 12 at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem
The certification is compiled by the National Restaurant Association as one of the most complete food safety training courses in the food industry. The course will include purchasing, receiving and storing food according to established sanitation and quality standards.

Northampton Community College will hold a free information session about its RN and LPN reactivation and review class at 6 p.m.,on Dec. 3 at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E.
