Tickets for the 97th annual Thanksgiving Day football game between Catasauqua Rough Riders and Northampton Konkrete Kids went on sale, in both the Northampton Area High School and the Catasauqua High School athletic offices, Nov. 11. Tickets will continue to be on sale 8:15 a.m.-2:45 p.m. through Nov. 26.

Nov. 26 will be the last day to purchase presale tickets, which are $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. All tickets sold at the game will be $7.

Tickets will also be on sale at Hartzell’s Pharmacy, 300 American St., Catasauqua.

Plan on supporting CHS’ Class of 2023 as it hosts a fundraiser at Chipotle Mexican Grill, 1870 Airport Road, Allentown, 4-8 p.m. Nov. 19. The daily special is taco Tuesday.

The class will receive 33 percent of the total profit made for that evening from anyone who mentions the Class of 2023 to the cashier. Online orders do not count, so please visit the restaurant directly.

?In preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday, CHS students will be dismissed 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27. Turkey Day festivities begin with the pep rally in the CHS gymnasium 11:30 a.m. and conclude with the bonfire and Turkey Day tunnel at Sheckler Elementary School 6:30-9:30 p.m.

All schools in the Catasauqua Area School District will be closed in observance of the holiday Nov. 28-Dec. 2. Schools will reopen and classes will resume Dec. 3.
