Shawn Rice, a 25-year-old male from Slatington, was cited by Lehigh Township police for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for a road-rage incident that occurred Oct. 29 at approximately 8:45 p.m.

According to police, Rice was operating a dark-colored Ford pickup truck. He was cited after he stopped his vehicle on Route 248 at the intersection of Mountain View Drive, where he got out of his truck and began yelling at the vehicle behind him for tailgating.

Rice punched the side-view mirror of the vehicle, causing damage, according to the report. He then got back into his vehicle and left the area.
