Seniors who would like to meet with the Cedar Crest College admissions counselor at Catasauqua High School to discuss admission procedures or who would like to apply for on-the-spot admission should contact Mrs. Frantz in the high school guidance office for more information or to schedule an interview.

Catasauqua Area School District’s winter coat distribution will take place 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 9 in the CASD district office (attached to Sheckler Elementary School), located at 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua.

Lots of coats in all sizes will be available, including many new coats that have been donated. Please do not hesitate to come to the district office to see what is available.

Any child or adult living in CASD qualifies for this program.

Catasauqua High School’s Alumni Field plays host this year for the annual Catasauqua-Northampton girls Powder Puff football game, scheduled for Nov. 10. Kickoff is 6 p.m.

Come out for this exciting and entertaining community and school event and show your support for the Varsity “C” Club, the community, both Catasauqua and Northampton High schools but, most of all, the athletes playing the game.

It’s the one game that is always remembered!

Plan on attending Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s annual open house 6-8 p.m. Nov. 14 to learn more about a career and technical education and how it gives students a competitive advantage.

Upon arrival, guests who RSVP’d are encouraged to pick up their free T-shirt, drawing tickets and information packets at the table in the main office lobby, which is easily accessible from parking lots three and four. After that, guests are invited to spend some time exploring the high-tech labs, meeting the teachers and enjoying the activities.
