Mrs. Nothstein’s Helping Hands

The ninth annual homemade holiday sale, benefiting Mrs. Nothstein’s Helping Hands, is planned for Nov. 7-9 in the church hall of St. John Fisher Church, 1229 Third St., North Catasauqua.

The event is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 9.

The sale will feature one-of-a-kind gifts from more than 30 local crafters. There will be food and baked goods for sale, including pierogies, halupkies, halushki, kiffles, turkey bowls, filling, chicken corn chowder, apple dumplings and more.

Mrs. Nothstein’s Helping Hands fund serves local children and their families who are in need. Over the past nine years, the fund has distributed more than $60,000 in various donations of food, clothing and any other necessities needed by the families.
