Catasauqua Community Cares Program

Catasauqua Community Cares Program is hosting a string art class fundraiser 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at Charotin Hose Company No. 1, 1066 Fourth St., North Catasauqua. There are five different boards to choose from, and you get to create a design with a colored string of your choice.

At the BYOB event, light refreshments will be served.

The class is $37 and a donation of macaroni and cheese or chicken noodle soup, which will go toward the C3P weekend backpack program that assists in feeding 150 students each weekend.

Another fundraiser is the second annual craft and vendor fair, planned for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 24 at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

There will be vendors, Chinese auctions, food and a raffle for a Roku smart TV. A donation of chicken noodle soup or macaroni and cheese will earn you a free raffle ticket.
