‘Coin Show’

LV Museum:

A “Coin Show” will be held 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Nov. 9, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown.

“Currency represents our nation’s growth and how it has grappled with the financial challenges. Coins and currency tell the story of our local and national history,” said Joseph Garrera, Executive Director of the Museum.

Guest Curator Stephen Gehringerd and numismatists will exhibit displays. Coins are expected to be bought and sold dealers from across the United States. Dealers are also expected to purchase gold and silver.

There will be free verbal appraisals available. Those attending can learn about coin collecting and grading.

“This is a unique opportunity to see such an exceptional collection of extraordinarily rare coins and currency exhibited in one place,” said Gehringer.

There will be free coins given to children.
