Happy Halloween!

Allentown Central Catholic High School Student Council held a Trunk or Treat, a safer environment for the trick or treaters where trunks of cars are used instead of going door to door, for the students of Sacred Heart School in Allentown Oct. 25.

Congratulations to the 2019 Homecoming Court: Queen Gabi Haring, Paige Egan, Emma Luchetti, Alex Manley, Cat Scott, Mary Wilson, King Christian Lipovsky, JayVian Boston, Sean Brosious, John Fenstermacher, George Hlavac and Jack Yen.

Football players, cheerleaders, band members and color guard celebrated Senior Night Oct. 19 at the Central vs. Freedom High School football game. Central put up a great fight, but fell short by a field goal. The final score was 34-31.

Congratulations to Sabrina Yurconic and Meagan Niechwiadowics who won the District XI 2A Doubles Champions in tennis. In addition, cross country runner Isabel DeVos placed seventh at the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Cross Country Championship held at DeSales University. The Vikette team finished sixth overall, while the Viking team finished ninth. Congratulations to golfer Charlie Long – EPC Second Team All Conference.

An open house will be held 2-4 p.m. Nov. 3. Tour the school, meet teachers, talk with students and learn about clubs athletics and activities.

Along with the open house, Viking Christmas will be held. Viking Christmas is a chance to purchase Central Catholic themed gifts and spirit wear for your loved ones.
