On Oct. 23, during all lunches in the cafeteria, class ring orders will be accepted. All rings ordered on this day will be delivered before winter break. Any student interested in ordering a class ring can get forms and more information in the activities office.

Two more weeks of nail art fun will be held in the Emmaus High School Library Maker Zone. Students can make a fall fingernail with seasonal and autumnal polish colors, decals charms and creative ideas.

The Emmaus Police Department was at EHS Oct. 15 through 18 to enforce students to wear their seatbelts. They wrote tickets to student drivers and passengers who failed to wear their seatbelts while in the car.

Any Red Cross member interested in attending the June 2021 Costa Rica service trip should stop by Room 335 to pick up information.

Any sophomore interested in leadership development training at the 2019-2020 HOBY Leadership Seminar should obtain an application form from Mrs. Killo or Mrs. Bray in the counseling office.

The ASVAB Military Test will be given 7:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at in the multimedia room. The free test also provides feedback for non-military students and is available to any student in grades 10 through 12. If interested, sign up in the counseling office.

If you are a sophomore and interested in getting a Class of 2022 shirt, see your English teacher for an order form. Completed forms and money are due no later than Oct. 23 to Mrs. Simpkins in Room 557 or Mrs. Frantzen in Room 569.

For the Snowsports Club, Blue Mountain registration deadline is Oct. 31. For paperwork, stop by Room 354.

The counseling office will be allowing EHS juniors and seniors to visit Kutztown University 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 13 to hear from admissions representatives, take a tour of the campus and have lunch in one of the dining halls. There is no fee to register and transportation will be provided. Go to the counseling office to register and obtain a permission slip. Permission slips are due to the counseling office Oct. 29.

The counseling office is excited to offer seniors the opportunity to participate in Instant Decision Days as part of the college application process. To participate, students must have SAT or ACT scores (unofficial printouts of scores are acceptable), submit an online application to the college and register in the counseling office for an appointment to meet with the college admissions representative from each school.

Cedar Crest College Instant Decision Date is Nov. 4 with a deadline to register in the counseling office by Oct. 30.
