Borough residents are reminded to welcome the costumed youngsters by turning on their front porch lights for trick-or-treat night 6-8 p.m. Oct. 25.

Police will have an extra presence in patrols across the borough.

The Ironton Rail Trail Oversight Commission will hold its annual historical walk beginning 9 a.m. Oct. 26.

The free community walk forms at the parkway barn off Church Street, north of MacArthur Road.

The Community Days committee meets 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at council chambers in borough hall, 98 S. Fourth St.

The committee will review August’s successful weekend event and begin planning for the 2020 festival.
