To the Editor:

Municipal elections have the power to fundamentally transform our lives and how we interact with our towns. The futures of our towns are in the hands of our neighbors and it is very important that we exercise our vote in a considerate manner to ensure that people who respect the power of this role guide our towns.

It is within this viewpoint that I am writing today to endorse John Hart for Emmaus Borough Council. John is a thoughtful, articulate and sensible individual who brings extensive management experience in an array of positions at a local community hospital system to his role as a councilperson.

Having known John Hart for 10 years, I can attest that he takes the responsibilities that come with the position of councilperson sincerely and meets the challenges of this position head-on with the foresight and diligence necessary to act as a steward of Emmaus.

John is someone who I am confident will guide Emmaus in a manner that will ensure that the town that my wife grew up in is as great for our sons as it was for her.
