PennDOT has announced there will be lane restrictions due to construction on Interstate 78 between Exit 35, Route 143 in Berks County; and Exit 45 Route 863, Weisenberg Township.

There will be a 24-hour lane restriction on I-78 in both directions for construction work related to the ongoing I-78 Reconstruction Project.

The road will be restricted 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 to 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.

PennDOT says to use caution and expect delays.
