Eric J. Bodish, 62, of Walnutport, died Oct. 5, 2019, in his residence. He was the husband of Anne E. Von Neida of Walnutport.

He was the son of the late Julius A. and Helen (Sommers) Bodish.

He was a 1975 graduate of Northampton High School. He was a 1986 graduate of Milton S. Hershey Medical School and had graduated from Temple with a bachelor’s degree in science.

He was an emergency room doctor in Level 1 trauma centers. He was, in 2002, named director of the emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, Coaldale.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Erika A. and Lauryn A. of Walnutport; a sister, Veronica J. Kremus of Coplay; a nephew, Jim and his wife Georgia Kremus; and cousins.
