M-Kocher:
Taylor Kocher and Sanjeev M were married June 15, 2019, at the Walnutport Canal pavilion.
Festivities commenced at 4 p.m. with a short ceremony surrounded by close family and friends from all over.
This was followed by a casual reception and evening of dancing, heartwarming toasts, and great food and conversation.
For the ceremony, the bride rode in in a classic car driven by a close family friend, accompanied by her maid of honor, sister and best friend Madison Kocher.
Following, there was a short cocktail hour during which the couple and family had beautiful pictures taken adjacent to the canal.
Dinner was a buffet with classic barbecue food, paired with homemade sangria.
Four of the couple’s closest friends gave hilarious and touching toasts after the meal, full of anecdotes (some quite embarrassing) about the couple.
Next, the newlywed’s danced to a cover of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” and after, the bride and her father danced to “My Girl,” which was met with tears from everyone.
The rest of the evening consisted of catching up and greeting family and friends.
There were about 80 people in attendance. The décor was rustic and filled with an array of daisies and baby’s breath in colors of pink, green and earthy tones, and with plenty of twinkling lights.
A delicious variety of cupcakes ended the evening. Guests took home locally-roasted coffee as a favor.
The couple honeymooned the weekend after in Newport Beach, Calif., about one hour from their new home in Los Angeles.
The bride, the daughter of Jodi and Earl, is originally from Germansville. The groom, the son of Richard and Lakshmi, is from Singapore.
