Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) and its Foundation hosts “Fall Fitness Fest,” Oct. 19, main campus, Schnecksville.

This year’s events focus on raising money for student scholarships and LCCC’s Cougar Cabinet food pantry, the latter created to address food insecurity among LCCC students.

Participants may register for one or all of these events:

5k run-walk follows a course around LCCC’s main campus and along Orchard Road. Registration, 7:30 a.m.; warmup, 8:30 a.m.; run-walk, 9 a.m.

Two-hour Zumba class, Berrier Hall. Registration, 10 a.m.; class, 11 a.m.

Yoga and meditation class, Dance Studio, Berrier Hall. Registration, noon; class, 1 p.m.

Qigong class, Auxiliary Gym, Berrier Hall, Registration, noon; class, 1 p.m.

A partnership with United Way funds the Allentown Food Pantry. A partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank benefits the Allentown and Schnecksville Food Pantries. Monetary or food donations are appreciated a the event.

LCCC partners with Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute and Miller-Keystone Blood Mobile to provide awareness, information and a mammography screening or blood donation on campus.
