A 19-year-old male, of Allentown, escaped injury when his vehicle overturned along Congdon Hill Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 11:17 p.m. Sept. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
The driver made a sharp left turn and toppled onto the right side of the road.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville are investigating a hit and run crash on State Route 29 at its intersection with Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 6:55 a.m. Sept. 10, in which a utility pole was damaged. Investigators observed approximately 75 feet of skid marks in the southbound lane of State Route 29. At the point where the skid marks end, police found tire marks in the grass leading to a PPL utility pole. A portion of the pole was removed due to the impact with the vehicle, according to police. A witness described hearing a loud screeching of tires on the roadway immediately followed by a loud bang which the witness believed to be the utility pole being struck by a vehicle.
Peter Francis McMillian, 24, of Allentown, was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Lehigh County for simple assault after a physical altercation at a location on Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:10 a.m. Sept. 18. McMillian allegedly pushed a 25-year-old female numerous times, prompting a call to police. Further investigation revealed the arrest warrant, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
