District News: Homecoming football game is Oct. 11; dance set for Oct. 12
Come out to cheer on the Northampton Area High School football team during the Homecoming game 7 p.m. Oct. 11.
The Homecoming dance is scheduled for 7-10 p.m. Oct. 12 at the high school gymnasium. Students may purchase tickets at school for this event.

Moore Elementary School’s fifth-grade class is having an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner and basket raffle fundraiser 3-7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive.
All proceeds go to raise funds for the annual class trip.

Schools will be closed Columbus Day, Oct. 14. Teachers will be having an in-service day.

The week of Oct. 21 is National School Bus Safety Week.
Various discussions may take place throughout the schools stressing the importance of bus safety. Parents are also encouraged to discuss with their children the importance of behavior and safety while riding the school bus.

Moore Elementary’s fall picture retake day is scheduled for Oct. 25.
Return your original photos for retake. Students who missed the first picture day can have theirs taken.

Distributive Education Clubs of America students will hold its sixth annual fundraiser Nov. 9. Come out and shop for a new mattress in a no-pressure environment and with better-than-retail prices. Northampton Area School District’s fall 2019 community education classes are now open for registration. Classes will be at Siegfried Elementary, Northampton Area Middle School and Northampton Area High School.
Classes for the fall include family yoga, lap swim, guitar, water aerobics, yin yang yoga, country line dancing, quilting and men’s basketball.
