Fitness fest Oct. 19 at LCCC

Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, and its foundation will host a fall fitness fest on Oct. 19.

This year’s events are focused on raising money for student scholarships and LCCC’s Cougar Cabinet food pantry, created to address food insecurity among LCCC students.

The partnership with United Way funds the Allentown Food Pantry, while the partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank benefits both the Allentown and Schnecksville food pantries.

Monetary or food donations are appreciated anytime and on the day of the event.

LCCC has partnered with Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute and Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile to provide awareness, information and an opportunity for a mammography screening or to give blood on campus.

For more information, visit LVHN.org/MammoCoach or call 610-402-LVHN to schedule a mammogram appointment.

For more information on Miller-Keystone Blood Center, visit giveapint.org. No appointment is needed.
