Two purses were removed from unlocked vehicles in a parking lot along Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:07 p.m. Sept. 4. A brown box truck was parked in the lot at the time of the thefts, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An Allentown man was injured when he was struck by a vehicle while walking along Brookside Road in Lower Macungie Township Sept. 20.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, an 80-year-old male was walking along the shoulder of Brookside Road around 5:55 a.m. when a vehicle traveling south struck him. The crash occurred just south of Hanover Drive.
The vehicle left the scene.
The man was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Boulevard, with a suspected serious injury, according to police.

Clifton Lowrell Jeter, 45, of Atlanta, Ga., was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Green Drive, Emmaus borough, 2:10 a.m. Aug. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Ricardo Feliz, 41, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of South Oak Street and Broad Street, Emmaus borough, 2:55 a.m. Aug. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
David Alan Koch, 53, of Downingtown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Wild Cherry Lane and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 10 according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Vehicle security company OnStar contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville after a vehicle stolen from Enterprise Leasing Company, Ewing, N.J., was tracked to Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Sept. 4. The area was searched and the stolen vehicle was recovered. The investigation continues, according to police.
A Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper was dispatched to a location in the 6200 block of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 11 p.m. Aug. 15 for the report of text messages threatening harm and an attempt to confront the recipient of the messages the next day at his place of employment.
Michael Evan Becker, 38, of Emmaus, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of suspected marijuana after a traffic stop during a sobriety check point at Wild Cherry Lane and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:19 a.m. Aug. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Fogelsville.
A 60-year-old female, of Schnecksville, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at New Wave Car Wash, 3156 PA-100, Lower Macungie Township, 6:27 a.m. Sept. 3. The woman allegedly drove her vehicle into a car wash bay and defecated, left two bags of garbage in the car wash bay and drove off, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Wells Fargo bank notified a resident of the 1400 block of Mashie Drive, Lower Macungie Township, of an attempted withdrawal of $500 by someone using his credit card information in New Mexico Sept. 13. The bank blocked the transaction and no funds were withdrawn or lost. The Lower Macungie Township resident closed the account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelesville.
