EMMAUS ROTARY CLUB

Emmaus Rotary will host the third Make A Difference service day Oct. 19.

Emmaus Rotarians plan to do light gardening work, bulb planting and cleaning windows at Hillside School, starting 8 a.m.

Tree planting at and near the Knauss Homestead with the Wildlands Conservatory will start 8:30 a.m.

Rotarians will prepare dinner for the men at the Allentown Rescue Mission and pack meals for Turning Point families both at in the kitchen at Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Rotarians will sort clothes and other items 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Kindness Project in Emmaus.

Rotarians also will volunteer at the Emmaus Halloween Parade 7 p.m., serving as marshals and assisting with float line up/organizing at Keystone Avenue prior to the parade. And club members will meet 8:30 a.m. Oct. 20 meeting Weis parking lot for a cleanup.

Organizers will need as many volunteers as possible to accomplish the club’s goal to make a difference.
