The two children who were found unconscious Monday afternoon in Albany Township, Berks County, have died.

The office of Lehigh County Coroner Eric Minnich says Brinley L. Snyder, 4, was pronounced dead 4:26 p.m. Sept. 26 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Conner Snyder, 8, was pronounced dead at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, also in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Autopsies will be performed to determine the cause of death for both children, the coroner says.

In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the deaths are being investigated by State Police, Troop L, Hamburg, with assistance from the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.

The children were found unconscious at 4:37 p.m. Sept. 23 at a house in the 2400 block of Route 143.

Both were MedEvac’d to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Volunteer firefighters with the Kempton Fire Company, along with Kutztown, Hamburg and Cetronia ambulance corps personnel assisted at the scene.
