State Police Troop L, Hamburg, are investigating an incident involving two children in Albany Township, Berks County.

Police say a 4-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy were found unconscious at 4:37 p.m. Sept. 23 at a house in the 2400 block of Route 143.

Both children were MedEvac’d to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

They are listed in stable condition, police say.

Volunteer firefighters with the Kempton Fire Company, along with Kutztown, Hamburg and Cetronia ambulance corps personnel assisted at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
