Class of 1959 celebrates 60th reunion

Northwestern Lehigh’s high school class of 1959 celebrated its 60th reunion Sept. 20 at the Parkland Restaurant, South Whitehall.

There were 52 students in the Class of ’59, however, one classmate died during the school year leaving 51 graduates.

Willard Snyder, Class of 1959 advisor was also able to attend with his wife Lucille. Snyder taught business at the high school.

He and his wife were tasked with keeping a quilt created by the late Rose Fenstermacher, a class member.

The quilt, which celebrates the class of 1959, was given to a classmate during the reunion.
