STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?

A. My parents are Rob and Suzanne. My two older brothers are Nick and Tom and I have a dog, Bella.

Q. What do you enjoy most about being a senior at Emmaus High School?

A. I’m looking forward to all of the fun senior stuff. Senior night, senior picnic and breakfast and senior ball.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is civil engineering and architecture because I absolutely love everything about architecture.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I am co-captain of the field hockey team. Last year, I received the Coaches Choice Award for girls hurdles. I’ve also received awards for Excellence in Geometry and World Studies.

Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?

A. I love playing field hockey and running track. I have fun coaching younger girls in field hockey. I also love pet setting for people in my neighborhood.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I plan to attend college and major in architecture.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. I still have challenges with balancing my school work, athletics and spending time with friends.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would want to be remembered as a genuine person and as someone who would bring a smile to your face.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire my older brothers. They’ve worked through some really hard times and have always landed on their feet. I’ll always want to be able to work as hard as they do.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Be nice to people. It’s truly amazing how much better your day, or someone else’s day, becomes just by showing a little bit of kindness. The more you do, the easier it becomes.
