Colgate University

Brittany Quinn, of Whitehall, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2020, has earned the spring 2019 dean’s award with distinction. Quinn is a graduate of Whitehall High School. Students who receive a term grade-point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses during the spring 2019 semester earn the dean’s award with distinction.

Colgate is a leading American university for students who want classes with rigor, faculty with passion and confidence in knowing they will learn how to thrive in work and life. Colgate offers 56 majors and supports 25 Division I athletic teams on a campus of about 2,900 students in central New York.

Fairleigh Dickinson University

Ariana Gambler, of Northampton, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s metropolitan campus, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. To qualify, a student must carry a 3.2 or better GPA out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

FDU’s metropolitan campus, located in Teaneck, N.J., features a university atmosphere with an international perspective, attracting students from the United States and around the world. Undergraduates have access to the resources of a major graduate center and nearby New York City as an integral part of their learning experience.

Wilkes University awarded 425 doctoral, masters and bachelor degrees to students graduating at the summer commencement ceremony Sept. 8.

Brooke Sherwin, of Coplay, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham campus in Madison, N.J., graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics in May.
