A Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper responded to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, 665 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5 p.m. Aug. 25 for a Smith and Wesson semi-automatic handgun .380 magazine found at the location. The magazine contained six jacketed hollow point .380 bullets. An unknown person removed a license plate from a vehicle at CARSTAR Allentown –Duncan Autobody, 1324 Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, between Aug. 15 and 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported at a location on Woodmont Circle, Lower Macungie Township.
Unknown actors removed two money orders with a total value of $19,000 from a residence along Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, between July 26 and Aug. 3. The unknown actors searched the residence until the money orders, one for $11,000 and a second for $8,000, were found.
A resident of Periwinkle Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported his lawnmower was removed from his front yard between 3 and 5 p.m. Aug. 24. A neighbor witnessed the incident and described a blue pickup truck operated by a middle age male and female as involved in the theft. An unknown person damaged a window and siding at a residence in the 1300 block of Beverly Hills Road, Lower Milford Township, between Aug. 20 and 22. Maraya Ann Bowen, of Easton, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Buckeye Road and Tank Farm Road, Upper Milford Township, 10:19 p.m. Aug. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Daniel David Franges, 48, of Stowe, Montgomery County, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Indian Falls Road and South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 1:14 a.m. Aug. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 29-year-old female, of Wescosville, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:24 p.m. July 27.
A male entered Dicks Sporting Goods store, 707 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:32 p.m. Aug. 16 and removed various Adidas training pants and jackets with a total value of $1,225. The man was observed on surveillance footage entering the store and leaving a short time later with a bag full of clothing. He then returned to the store approximately five minutes later wearing different clothing and left the store about 20 minutes later with another bag full of clothing. The incident was reported to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville Aug. 19.
A 59-year-old female, of Allentown, who was a customer at a business along Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, opened a bottle of perm neutralizer and tossed it on the cashier’s counter and on a 19-year-old employee of the business 11 a.m. Aug. 11.
A 19-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, was charged with harassment after she allegedly spit in the face of another person at a location in the 1800 block of Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:20 p.m. Aug. 25. The 19-year-old female also allegedly shoved the other person, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 39-year-old male, of East Greenville, was charged with harassment after he allegedly shoved a 58-year-old male twice in the 5200 block of Wasser Road, Lower Milford Township, 8:16 p.m. Aug. 24. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, a verbal altercation escalated inside a residence and resulted in the younger man shoving the older male to the ground. The older male walked to a nearby residence of a family member and the younger male followed where he again allegedly shoved the older male to the ground.
Drug possession
Caleb Daniel Fires, 25, of Easton, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of a drug and being in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at the intersection of Shimerville Road and Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, 12:26 a.m. Aug. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
According to a media release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, troopers responded to a location on Lenni Circle, Upper Milford Township, along with Emmaus EMS for a suspected heroin overdose 8:20 p.m. Aug. 27. Narcan® was administered and the person awoke and was combative and angry. The person was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, for evaluation.
