Kids are back in school. The leaves are changing and there is an ever so subtle cooling down of the temperature.
This can only mean one thing - It’s time for the Pioneer Applefest at Ontelaunee Park.
Celebrating 15 years of fun and history, the festival, sponsored by the Lynn Heidelberg Historical Society will be held, rain or shine, 10 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at Ontelaunee Park.
There will be pioneer and Native American demonstrations, live music, hayrides, tractor and classic car displays.
If you prefer paws to wheels, check out the dog agility demonstrations.
In addition to apple activities, food and beverages will be available.
There is a small suggested donation per car.
