Don’t miss the Coplay Borough 150th anniversary pub crawl, scheduled for Sept. 21.

The crawl starts 3:30 p.m. at Samuel Owens Restaurant and Bar, 128 Chestnut St. The crawl continues on to 2nd Street Tavern, 33 N. Second St.; then to American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St.; and ends at Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St. Participants are then encouraged to return to their favorite spot.

Sign up starting 3 p.m. at the gazebo at Coplay Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets. You receive a wristband and a poker card. You then collect poker cards at each of the bars along the crawl.

The poker cards must be turned in by 8 p.m. to be entered to win a grand prize. The prize winner will be picked Sept. 22.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is hosting a shepherd’s pie dinner 4-6:30 p.m. Sept. 21. The dinner is open to the public.

Dinner also includes creamed cabbage, applesauce, rolls and butter, beverages and dessert.

Need some laughs? Come to a comedy night benefiting Coplay Public Library at Wisecrackers Comedy Club at Ramada Inn, 1500 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, Sept. 21.

Doors open 8 p.m., and the show runs 9-11 p.m.
