Whitehall competed in a cross county meet at Northampton’s Bicentennial Park in East Allen Township on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The teams competing were: Northampton, Easton, Nazareth, Central Catholic, Emmaus and Whitehall.

Devon Roberts was the highest Zephyr finisher on the day, taking seventh overall in the girls race which was won by Emmaus’ Kera Reinhard with a time of 19:37. Roberts finished with a time of 20:31.

The girls dropped all three of their contests, falling 23-34 to Northampton, 22-37 to Nazareth and 20-43 to Easton.

Junior Lindsay Solderitch was 36th in 23:38 and freshman Mikayla Warren took 61st in 25:16.

Cardone of Easton was the boys top finisher with a time of 16:44.

Gavin Hagley led the way for the Zephs taking 58th with a time of 19:14. Sean Connolly was 60th in 19:19 and Jakob Schlosser was 61st in 19:20.

In golf, Whitehall beat Pocono Mountain West 468-552.

Cody Suhaka led the way with a 90 as did Conner Foster. Jayden Kuhn shot a 94 and A.J. Capille fired a 96. Kristine Landis and Kevin Landis each had 98.

PMW was led by Ryan Armstrong who had a 96 at the Southmoore par-71.
