An Emmaus man was fatally injured in a lawn tractor accident Sept. 3 in Upper Saucon Township.

Frank Deutsch, 73, was pronounced dead 10:07 a.m. Sept. 3 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, according to a media release provided by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensics Center.

An autopsy Sept. 4 revealed the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death was ruled an accident, according to authorities.

The accident happened at approximately 5:51 a.m. at 5525 Locust Valley Road, Upper Saucon Township, according to authorities. An Internet search revealed the address corresponds to that of the Locust Valley Golf Club, Upper Saucon Township.

Township police are among investigating agencies.
