STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?
A. My parents are Katherine and Gregory Brown. My brother, Holden, attends Emmaus High School as a sophomore. I have a cat named Cyrus and a dog named Roxie.
Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior?
A. I enjoy being able to take a wider variety of courses that interests me.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject is world history. I get to learn about many cultures and places in the world that I hope to experience for myself someday.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I have three varsity letters in cross country and two in track. I am also a member of National Honor Society.
Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
A. I enjoy training for cross country with my teammates and working on art projects.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. I am hoping to be accepted into college for architecture and become a licensed architect.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. One of my biggest challenges was deciding what career path to take after high school, but I am now confident in my decision.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I hope I can create something that others will enjoy and find memorable in their own personal way.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire those who are able to give up conveniences like plastics and gasoline. It can make one’s life more difficult to go without such things, but it leaves a positive impact on the world and can inspire others to do the same.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. You should take the opportunities EHS provides to travel abroad. The experiences you might have there can be extremely impactful, whether it’s finding a new favorite food or knowing where you want to live one day. Experiencing other cultures can have positive influences on your own life.
