Parkland student awarded Dr. Phillip Grubb scholarship

Ai Orthodontics, Emmaus, recently awarded scholarships to patients who are pursuing continuing education.

Rayhan Rahman from Parkland High School, who is going to Penn State, received the Schreyer Honors College Dr. Phillip Grubb Scholarship, presented by Dr. Phillip and Sue Grubb.

In addition, Sydni Ernst from Allentown Central Catholic, who is attending Drexel University, was presented the Dr. William Baringer Memorial Scholarship by Barbara Baringer and daughter Brenda.

Ai Orthodontics also held an open house Aug. 17 to say thank you to their customers, but also to celebrate the practice’s renovated space.

There was ice cream, lawn games, Take-A-Take food truck, giveaways every 20 minutes, face painting and a henna artist.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, East Penn Chamber, and Emmaus Main Street Partners helped celebrate the renovation by hosting the ribbon cutting portion of the event.
